Village Progress’s rural development projects work to address health and education issues. We work in partnership with other non-profit initiatives to bring volunteer doctors and teachers to schools that rarely get opportunities outside of the standard curriculum.
Many villages lack access to good health care. Hospitals are sometimes more than three hours away. Farmers are often left with inexperienced doctors. Village Progress works directly with children and teachers on projects to teach proper health, hygiene, nutrition and basic emergency care.
We believe that when it comes to health and safety, a little education can go a long way to a happier and healthier life.
